A Must Have!!
These stereo removal tools are a must have if you plan on removing the stereo on certain models of Ford and Mazda vehicles. I used these to remove the factory stereo on my 2002 Mazda Protege 5. Removal can be next to impossible without breaking the dash if you don't unlock the stereo with these tools. Removal is fairly simple with these and a big time saver.

These tools work just as designed for my 1997 Ford Taurus. Slip them right in, give a little pull, and out pops the head unit.

Works
Worked for my radio. I did hear that you dont have to buy this to remove the radio but I could not get it out with anything else but this. And it still was a struggle but i could actually get it out with a screwdriver and these. I even bent metal screws with slots in them trying to get this baby out.

Good tool
Worked well once I enlarged the access holes in the radio casing of my Mazda. The ends of the Xscorpion RRK-FD4 would not go through the stock holes and had to be slightly reamed with a 1/8 drill bit then all was well.
