OK...But Not Great
I decided on this unit after searching the web for a decent head unit for a decent price (Sonic's price is awesome, BTW!). I didn't think a Clarion unit would be an issue, but....
It will lock up while using my 4th gen iPod. The unit needs to be turned off and on again to reset it. I have read that the iOS on the iPod needs to be downgraded to work properly. Sorry Clarion...upgrade your firmware to work with the latest accessories!!
It will randomly change to different screens (iPod screen to Input Selection screen to Navigation screen)
The navigation and bluetooth work pretty well, but the software bugs are enough to make me want to tear it out and get something else and Clarion's website seems to offer little to no support.
I thought Clarion, being first and foremost car audio, would never release a unit with these kinds of bugs. I guess the are right up there with the rest of the corporate world who sacrifices quality for profit.

great buy
Installation is relatively easy, just a plug and play system. Sound quality it puts out is absolutely astonishing, even on factory speakers. There is a definite learning curve to using the deck. Equalizer is a little small, and Bluetooth pairing is difficult, and freezes up if the device moves at all.

Cool features and design but freezes very often
I was very exited by getting this GPS unit because I saw a review saying that it's outstanding and is one of the most complete head units and it really contain cool features, however it freezes often the controls stop responding always and I need to turn it off to stop the music or going to a feature that I need and that's really frustrating.
The GPS unit it's very out of date or I don't know what's wrong but it use to take me 1 or 2 block away from the address that I'm looking for and it happens at least 40% of the times.
I use to buy pioneer units and I never had a bad experience they always full my expectations but this time I decided to try whit clarion and I'm really disappointed the screen is really bad compared to pioneer's units it's too glare, the processor sims to be to slow for all the features.
As pros for this unit I could say that when it works properly it's great it has a lot of cool features and options to customize the interface looks good and has cool colors. Anyway I'm gonna try to update the firmware to see if it gets better and stops freezing so much. I really hope it gets better that would be so cool.

Clarion nx602
Do not recommend this unit because I've only has it for a month, and do what I'm seeing I don't know how long it will actually last. No extra warranty options so I most likely will lose out in my money. No feature or benefit means anything if the unit itself doesn't last.

Very robust product after 2 years
I bought it here about 2 years ago for good price. No problem with shipping. Made installed by local pro – I believe this was an excellent idea. I think ppl who had some problems, they didn’t install it correctly. I also added 4 new clarion speakers. Unit is working very well; I’m using it minimum 3 hours per day. It is paired with my Samsung S3.
For music, if you have few giga, it is better to copy it to USB key or SD card - it is working very well like that. If you want to play from your cell, it takes forever to load.
Very good quality of calls, synchronizing with cell contacts sometimes can be tricky.
Quality of sound is excellent for the price you pay. I’m listening often classical music which is very demanding on quality and I’m quite satisfied. One remark - the choice of equaliser is too small.
Other weak point is, if the temperature is below -20C all preseted radio stations are gone.
I’d love Clarion could add to GPS live traffic info, even this from google would be welcome.

Good quality
2 more months will make 2 years with this headunit. Amazing! Im sure their is a newer model out yet but this headunit is nice. Clarion also has updates so your headunit stays up to date.

Possibly the best for the money
I just finished the installation of this Clarion NX602, and I'm still learning some of the features. So far, this unit is quite possibly one of the best in its class, especially in value!
The installation was in a 2011 Grand Cherokee, which was no easy task, but with a PAC wiring adapter (and great customer tech support) it was as feasible as could be expected for a novice.
Once the unit was installed, the initial set up of the unit was very self-explanatory through the on-screen menus. The touch screen is very responsive, with swiping enabled to change home-screens. I wired up a back up camera as well, which comes on very quickly when the vehicle is placed in Reverse.
The Bluetooth works very well, and loads my missed, received, dialed, and contacts lists into the head unit. The unit promptly mutes music for a call automatically, then resumes when completed.
The ONLY downfall I've found so far is that Pandora will not play from an Android based phone... Apparently that feature is reserved for iphones. Big mistake there Clarion... Very disappointing.
Even with that major drawback, it's still an amazing unit for the money, and as far as speed, I would say it compares with the newest Kenwood models for hundreds of dollars less.

Excellent product
I spent several months researching DD head units to install in my 2012 Ram 1500 Express crew cab. I didn't want to spend $2k on a factory nav unit plus $200 on a lockpick. My little sister is a pro installer and recommended Kenwood or Alpine. I asked her about Clarion but she stated she never dealt with them and didn't have an opinion. In the end, I selected the nx501 based on features and price. The sirius direct connect and integrated Bluetooth made this unit at least $200 cheaper than every other manufacturer out there (besides, boss, jensen and valor but come on).
Pros:
-It has a volume knob
-The nav is fast and accurate, route planning is quick and efficient as well
-The unit has a hard nav/av button right above the volume control, this allows you to switch from the nav map to the active source so you can change stations or songs or video or whatever and then press it again to take you right back the nav map. I find this EXTREMEly convenient and well thought out. Not sure if this is considered standard.
-The integrated microphone works well in my vehicle, the head unit is positioned near the top of the dash and i think that helps. My Blackberry Bold 9650 had no issues pairing with the unit and my contacts were instantly available
-No issues with sirius loading as stated in earlier reviews, there was a firmware update released last year which was already applied to my head unit when it arrive in February 2012. It has lost my presets twice so I'll need to get to the bottom of that
-Front a/v input is very convenient
-The User Interface is fast and intuitive
-Everything needed was included in the box, my sister was impressed with the packaging and included accessories. Less than $800 for sat nav, sirius, integrated bluetooth, backup camera and harnesses/adapters
-Dual zone is a very cool feature although I don't get to use it often but it does work and is not as distracting as you would think it may be with having two different sources playing at the same time
Cons:
-Sirius has lost my presets twice so far (in 1 week)
-USB Audio has somewhat limited functionality, random is available but other sorting options seem weak or unavailable.
Other thoughts:
-I do not own an iPod as I am capable of thinking and organizing music myself
-I have had the nav unit on and routing, listening to sirius, flipped on the backup cam and accepted an incoming call all at the same time without a slowdown or hesitation from this head unit.
-I would recommend this unit to anyone, everyone that has seen it has liked and can immediately figure out how to use it without much help from me.
