I bought this radio so that I could listen to NFL games while I was at work and it did that task perfectly. It gets great reception and easily fits into your pocket. Plus, it's super durable and can take a beating if you drop it.

It does the job

There are no frills to this basic radio, What should one expect? I wanted a radio to pick up news programming, carrying it around the house and this fills the bill. It is bred to be small and indeed it is, almost too small. The radio is a little hard to stand up and can easily topple. The tuning dial certainly works, but it takes very small adjustments to tune in the station. Then, be careful not to touch the dial, which seems to need a little design change to protect unintended contact. It is too easy to give it a slight nudge and lose the station. But it does what I wanted it to do.

Great little radio

This is a great little portable radio that gets AM and FM without a hitch.
My only issue with it is that I keep losing the battery cover, but that really
isn't a big deal. I'd recommend it without reservation- a great deal at a great price!

Best small radio around

I have purchased 4 of these radios over several years.....it has by far the best sound and build quaity on the market for its size.......I use it daily for classical concerts....I listen to football games on it....its' sound fills the room beautifully

I ordered this radio in desperation as the one I have been using (not a Sony) is basically frustrating and though not cheap is a piece of junk. We are very pleased with this Sony. Its controls are simple (and work every time); it is attractive with a silver color finish and readable dials. My husband threw the old one away and is now using this exclusively. The tone is good also. I can't speak to its durability, as we have just begun using it, but it appears very durable and error free.
