Ground Shaker SQPXL 1 12

Great Prefab as Usual

I've had a variety of Ground Shaker's boxes (8", dual 8", 10", now SPL 12") and they make great boxes for being prefabricated. The 12" SPL box sits perfectly in the trunk of my IS350, which is exactly 30.75" from the left to right inner wheel walls.

not happy over all cheaply contructed

Put a fosgate t1-12 and it sounds good but the it came apart. Had to put my own screws back in to hold it together.

it is a decent product

let me start by saying that the box arrived in record time. however found that the edges were worn out and the carpet was also worn off. it looked hideous. the performance has up to par my system sounds much deeper I will check back later to update with the pros and cons

great box

I love this box!! It looks great and was exactly the way it was described. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very nice box built to my sub specs, shakes the whole car. If you are thinking of getting this box, get it. I took the box to 1 of my favorite Car Audio shops around me and the box guy told me that he would have charged me $125-$150 to build me a box like this.

Not what I expected!

The box was made of less than quality materials, and had multiple seems including a ugly glue soaked seem right on the face of the enclosure.

good box for the money

There was a couple of issues with the box but it could be from the shipping of it. But it rattled like it wasn't glued or sealed properly. The corners were damaged but the fit for the sub was good. I had to reseal the box and screw it together to keep it from rattling.

sweet box

For a prefab box you really can't go wrong with this, terminals on the inside are a little chincy, but seems to be constructed well and has a good sound to it.

Superb Sound

This box is perfect for the kicker cvr or cvx and has amazing sound quality. However, you must be careful playing bass notes below 20 hertz because a sub like the cvr tends to have a loss in motor control and makes an awful popping noise due to the cone having no support in the ported box.
