Stay Away!

I never give reviews, but the experience with this product has been so bad that I felt compelled to do so. First of all, it's completely overpriced - really all you're getting for the extra amount is a software upgrade, and while it was theoretically worth it to me, that's only if it actually worked correctly. That is to say - I'd pay DOUBLE this amount if it actually worked like it should. First of all - all the software is outdated, it only works with Palm OS and Microsoft XP (Vista is not supported anymore), and it's a completely unstable program. The system forgets the settings you put in frequently and randomly, and then bluetooth will only pick-up your signal periodically - mine doesn't work at all anymore. Meaning that the wrong settings get locked in your system and you can't change them. Call Rockford Support up and they have TERRIBLE attitudes about helping you, even though I sat there with a team of car stereo experts at the shop (paying $80/hour) and they're all saying the 3.sixty is the problem in the chain. Support finally says send it back and it will take 3 weeks minimum for them to look at it, and "they might not do anything at all". If they were cool about I'd be fine, but I spent a fortune on this thing and they couldn't have been ruder.

Ultimately - this is a software product from a Hardware company, and it hasn't been updated in YEARS, you're at the mercy of a buggy program, and it becomes the absolute bane of your existence because it controls your whole chain - it's like turning your car audio experience into a Windows XP computer that has the blue screen of death all the time. Warning you now - stay. far. away!

Great buy...

This is the only way to go if you want/need to improve your stock system. I suggest that you buy a car with a stock system just so that you can buy this unit. Lol....

Works great for me!

I was really reluctant to buy this item because of some of the negative reviews regarding software implementation and Bluetooth functionality. But I also really liked the function set. According to the specs, this units would do everything I was hoping to accomplish with my system.

Well, I took a chance and ordered it, and I have to say I can not understand what the haters are talking about. I had no problem loading or running the software. It works fine on my Windows Vista laptop, though others had claimed it would not work with Vista. I had no problem with the Bluetooth, in fact it was easier to pair than my cell phone, headset, or mouse. I love the fact that it has a remote knob for subwoofer volume and that it can be installed in a discreet area, minus the under dash box that it comes in. Sonic Electronix had the best price, comparable to used units on eBay.

I would love to see Rockford Fosgate release an iPhone version of their software, since I don't own a Palm plaform device. I would galdly pay for that!

Great product for the money

Great addition for anyone who wants to add a subwoofer and more to an OEM factory system. Bluetooth connectivity is a bonus. Overall features are excellent as well as the customization of various parameters for each channel. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to boost their factory audio system. Rockford Fosgate still makes great stuff.

In a word, WOW!

WOW indeed. If you have an RTA you are guaranteed to have hours of fun ahead. Getting your installation flat is point and click. With the ability to save different setting-patches allows you to tailor the environment to different styles. If you've spent money upgrading speakers and amps you would be doing yourself a great disservice if you pass up on adding this. The 3Sixty.2 is simply the easiest way to get headphones-on-wheels, with better bass :)

Great sound quality with factory head unit

Overall, the 3sixty is a great product for OEM integration. Superb sound quality, and lots of controls to configure sound output to get your system sounding perfect (especially if you have complex multi-amp system). 3sixty software (for laptop, windows mobile, etc.) is a bit buggy and not compatible with many devices (never could get it to work on my windows mobile phone because my phone had incompatible bluetooth driver), but this wasn't that big of a deal because once you get it all set up properly, you don't need to mess with it much.

Very flexible processor

I have been using the 360.2 for about 8 months. No problems at all with it. I configure it with my laptop using the software from RF's website.

You can do pretty much everything from time alignment on each channel (except for sub), graphic EQ on every channel, and flexible crossovers.

If I had to pick areas for improvement, I'd like to see a longer time delay than the current maximum, for those of us who like more delay on the rear fill. I'd also like to be able to reverse phase on any output thru the RF software, and would like to see a difference'd (L-R) signal out as a possible rear fill application. Finally, having a variable "Q" on the EQ bands would also be nice, heck, even make it a full parametric EQ. If it had these extras, I would have rated it a 5 in every category.

Aside from those points, it's worth the price to have so much functionality at your fingertips, especially for those of us who were used to going back to the trunk to make adjustments...listen to the change...and repeat.

3SIXTY.2 Review

Pros: Excellent Processor, I love the Bluetooth fuctionality. Also, I recommed the .2 over the .1 because you can save and load saved EQ settings.

Cons: It does not work with the iPhone. I don't like the fact that I have to stay with a palm based device although I love my palm phone. This is the reason that I gave it a 4 for features.

It works very well - Lucky Me

After checking the manufacturing date of the unit which I've got shows November 2008, I'm glad that the Bluetooth issues has been rectified with this unit. Got it install early this year, no problem with it, and my setup is 2 way Active setup and a sub-out. Software only installs to WIN XP. Hopefully RF will upgrade it to Vista soon, as XP will be obsolete. Anyway the sound stage setup with this unit is about 80% to 90% achievable.

I had some signal noise in my system and i bought the 3SIXTY.2 and it cleared the noise up.. If you want Perfect sound in your system than you cannot go without this Rockford fosgate rules
