A new shortcut soft key within all audio and hands-free sources makes it even easier to add sources than before. Share your vehicle with others. Set up “My Favorites” for up to two users. Easily add, delete, re-name, and re-arrange your short-cut icons by dragging the icon(s) to a new location on the screen. Your settings are kept as a personal profile linked to your phone via Bluetooth. The X008U loads your system preferences when your phone is connected, so you can quickly access the features you use the most by simply pressing the “star” button. Kits are currently available for 35 vehicle models, and kits for additional vehicles will continue to be added to the program. A universal trim bezel is available for vehicles that do not have a compatible Perfect F.I.T. dash kit. |
The Alpine X008U stereo is compatible with iDatalink Maestro products which allow you to seamlessly integrate your vehicle's original factory infotainment systems with your new stereo. Features you'll be able to retain include hands-free Bluetooth, the USB media player, satellite radio, steering wheel controls and more. You'll also be able to display vehicle information on your stereo screen like climate control, visual park assist and various gauges displaying engine temperatures, pressures and the tachometer.
