I have these in all the doors of my ford escape powered by a rockford fosgate punch 400×4. With Pac bass blockers on them all and the mids and highs sound great. Definitely worth the money

Had to try them

At a dance club many years ago a rich thundering sound was created by four small Cerwin Vega speakers. Very loud and clear for such small speakers in such a large room. I said to myself I would buy some for myself some day. My stock Ford pickup speakers were poor so when I found these I decided to keep a promise to myself. My receiver is a bit complicated JVC so dialing them in took a few days. But now, I take the long way EVERYWHERE! These are the bomb and for the price, unbelievable! Rival much more expensive speakers I have heard.

I put these speakers in my 2004 Mercury Marauder. These are really good speakers. They sound great & can handle a good amount of power. I would gladly buy them again.

Nice Speakers

I bought the Cerwin-Vega V-468. They came packed extremely well, appearance was pleasing having the signature red surrounds. They seem to have a crossover for the low frequency driver presumably to block lower frequencies. The response is rated down to 60 hz. They play well paired with a sub but may be lacking in the low end if used without one.
The sound from these speakers is excellent all around nice crisp highs without being harsh. Mids make voices come alive with excellent imaging. They also worked well with the factory head unit and amp most likely because of their high sensitivity.
The fit was ok in a 5x7 opening in a 2006 Explorer however I needed the baffles that were recommended by Sonic to have the proper back spacing (they hit the window track slightly without them). Otherwise they would need a spacer behind them.
So to sum it up, for the money, they are a well built speaker that sound excellent, not to mention they look pretty bad ass!!!

Just what I was looking for and at a great price.

I have not installed them yet but they look perfect and I have had great past experience with Cerwin-vega.

Speakers fit great and sound much better than the stock originals did. I did not have to drill any additional holes so the fit was great. I plan on adding sound deadening to my truck later this summer, at that time I will buy another set of speakers to replace the rear set in my truck. Well worth the money and great buy.

Awesome speakers but you need to feed them more than just a radio power. I recommend install an amp with these babies.

you will not find speakers with these specs at this price, anywhere. 94 db sensitivity speakers start at over 100.00 a pair, everywhere, except these, except here. shipping is fast and packaging is overkill on the protection. buy them now, as many as you can, they'll probably stop making them.
