Phase Plug for Sound Quality
Audiopipe designed the 8SND speaker with an incorporated phase plug to provide high quality high frequency response. The phase plug equalizes sound wave lengths which prevents the sound waves from colliding. Sound wave collisions can cause cancellations and frequency response problems, resulting in greatly reduced overall sound quality.
Smaller Magnet, Same Strength
When faced with limited space for your speaker installation, a speaker with neodymium magnets can be invaluable. Neodymium magnets take up significantly less space (and are significantly lighter in weight) than a conventional magnet without sacrificing strength. A high quality aluminum heat sink ensures your speaker won't overheat during use.
Light and Strong
Despite all of the advances in audio technology, a quality paper cone is still tough to beat, and Audiopipe's 8SND speakers feature a light weight yet incredibly stiff paper cone.
