The MB Quart QS216 include a high end crossover that true audiophiles will appreciate. The solid construction and top-notch craftsmanship easily set it apart from the rest. Advanced "Q Control" inside the crossover allows for avariable points of attenuation in the midrange and the tweeter. MB Quart also included their Balanced Temperature Control Technology that will ensure the integrity of your music will never degrade or suffer over extended periods of high power listening. Go a step further by adding the ability to bi-amplify the tweeter separately from the midrange and you are set with the ultimate crossover.
A True Audiophile MidrangeOne glance at the midrange woofers and you think there is something special about them. Once you pick them up, you know there is something very special about them. MB Quart uses a Nomex PMI Composite sandwich material in the speaker cone. The material is lightweight and rigid, two of the most important attributes when constructing a speaker cones. The combination results in a flat linear response with brilliant low frequency response and high sensitivity.
Breathtaking Tweeter DesignThe tweeters included with the Q-Series QS216 are a large 40mm in diameter and made from a Teteron silk composite. The result is beautiful acoustic reproduction that rivals the highest end of tweeters. Flawless reproduction of audio frequencies and improved durability are a direct result of using the advanced materials. Flush and angle mount hardware is included and helps to mount the tweeters in a variety of locations.
