With the most demanding system in mind, cutting edge computer aided design and full finite element analysis was used to give you a woofer built for extreme SPL use. Weighing in at over 30 pounds, the XS-XXXv2 is pound for pound the flagship in marine subwoofer drivers.
High stiffness matte black polypropylene/carbon fiber/glass fiber cone, heavy duty magnetic system, and a true 3" dual voice coil are only a few of the high end components Wet Sounds utilizes to provide enthusiasts with one of the highest quality marine drivers on the market.
The XS-XXXv2 is equipped with a high roll santoprene thermoformed rubber surround to thoroughly accentuate its 12.30 millimeter Xmax. The drivers 1,000 watt RMS will only be achieved with proper excursion, and Wet Sound took no short cuts in making sure the driver will push as much air as possible.
The skin of the XS-XXXv2 is built on a Powder Coated gloss black cast aluminum frame, fiberglass former, and gold plated screw down binding posts. Combined with an integrated multi-part cooling system, a t yoke heat sink, and combination peripheral/pole piece venting the XS-XXXv2 is built for quality and reliability.
