Very loud!

I decided to give this sub a try when my 8" Sound Ordnance compact sub died on me. I feel like this is probably the best or one of the best compact subs you can buy. Most compact subs are 8", this one is 10". Seems well built, solid, heavy, nice construction. Nothing seems cheap on it. This puts out way more bass than my previous 8" compact sub, fills up the car more and it doesn't sound as directional in the car. I actually think I like the "vega bass", seems to sound better with this up when the car is moving. Very happy, think I made the right call on this one.

Ok so I put this under the bench seat of my F100 and I am thoroughly impressed at the improvement in the sound from my stereo. No I will not be winning any bass off competitions but then I didn't expect to. What I do get is full rich clean low ends that were missing before. Only downside is at high volume it is relatively quick to get warm without the airflow under my seat and thus it shuts down till it cools off. I would definitely recommend this to others despite that.

Great Product

This speaker packs a big punch, I installed it in a Saab 9-7X and it sounds great...Not going to rattle the house windows but will provide some good bass to any car stereo system!

Spectacular

I had an Alpine 8 inch under seat sub that just was doing the job. This C.V. is a beast! HEAVY! I can barely turn it up before it becomes too loud. My other speakers are 6.5 inch FOCALS ($75 each) in the front doors and rear deck. They are powered by a 125 watt R.M.S. M.B. Quart Discus amp. Loud, clean sound. My head unit is an older J.V.C. The whole "shootin match" was $600. My installer could not believe his ears once he had it in.

Cool little unit

Just wanted something to go in my teenage son's truck so he could get a full appreciation for all the bass and background in songs that you typically can't hear without a subwoofer. I also wanted something tight and crisp without the BOOM, although if you play with the adjustments a bit you can get that too. Very clean sound, and small enough to fit behind or under the seat of a regular cab truck, so there's no sacrifice of legroom. Added a 100 watt amp to the door speakers in his truck and this thing made for a good clean system. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to add a little bass without taking up a lot of space.

Very surprised

I was expecting to be disappointed in this, but for the price I decided to try it Installed in a crew cab truck I was pleasantly surprised. Like stated in other reviews it’s not going to win competitions but along with 4 Memphis 6x8’s in the doors. It sounds GREAT

Nice compact subwoofer

This subwoofer sounds good and hits good for how small it is , has good bass but lacks the lows you would normally get with a full size sub . I put it under the rear seats of my f150 along with 4 Rockford fosgate door speakers

Compact and full of sound

I bought this for my 09 Chevrolet Avalanche. I don't need a subwoofer box to take up bed space. I already have a Bose sound system from factory and just wanted more bass. Its perfect in size and sound.
