The SS-65 is a 6½" subwoofer, purpose-built for the strenuous life of the marine environment. Its architecture is designed to withstand the harsh environments and abuse that Wet Sounds' enthusiasts drag their gear through. This includes a Die cast basket, kevlar fiber enhanced cone and a santoprene surround. Its motor, composed of 2.0" 4-layer high temperature voice coil and double stacked 70oz high energy magnet, is specifically meant to give the user the power he or she needs to get the bass to cut through the air. At 250 watts RMS , the SS-65 is a perfect solution for filling in that gap between the mid-range and deep low end.
