The Ford 4" UNI-CAM kit is a plug & play solution for adding an aftermarket rear camera and front camera into Ford vehicles equipped with the OEM 4" media screen. No dealership programming is required and all connections are made behind the factory screen. Additionally, both the front and rear cameras can be forced to display on screen at any time, in any gear.
Note: Before installing this module, please verify compatibility using charts provided further below.
*Due to the large variety of different 4" screen part numbers, it is strongly advised to verify the screen compatibility by removing the screen and measuring a 75 ohm termination across pins 6 and 12. Neither NAV-TV nor SonicElectronix can assure compatibility unless this step has been taken. Please consult an installer for help with removing the headunit if needed. See Chart Below

Well executed and works exactly as described
This interface allows a rear camera input for the factory Ford 4" screen. It also has an input for another video source of your choice (front camera for example). Both are regular composite video RCA connections. The rear cam will be triggered for for display automatically when the car is shifted into reverse. You do not have to find a reverse trigger wire or tag the taillights. The power for the cam can be run up to the interface with the video input and connected to the provided ignition power out or the reverse power out. Either video input can be forced to display at any time with a switch you can install (not included and optional of course). The included instructions were obviously written for an older revision of the module than what I received, but it was no biggie and still very clear. They're NOT like some of the instructions included with products produced off shore. These were clear, complete and well written. PLEASE NOTE the compatibility check you must do prior to purchase. Ford used like 60 different models of 4" screen in their vehicles. Most will work with this interface, but not all.
