Great Head Unit

Great Sound, Beautiful Screen, Lots of features, Price is reasonable compared to other units with similar features. I've only played with it for 1 day now - but it's so simple. Everything just works, no messing around with things trying to figure it out. I had my phone bluetooth linked within 15 seconds - no manual needed. Oh and I received my order the very next day upon placing it - and that was using their free shipping!

Nice Receiver

I had the Sony XAV - 64BT installed in my Toyota Tacoma a couple of weeks ago. The unit was very easy to use as well as looking good in the dash. The Bluetooth feature could not have been easier I had my I Phone working within minutes.

Great Unit

I installed this in a '04 F150 FX4.

Pros: This DVD player looks awesome installed. I have received many compliments on how it looks. The picture quality is really great, and the unit is easy to use. The software for the Sense Me feature is easy to use. The touch screen works well. The unit seems powerful enough for factory systems. This unit works awesome, even in the cold Iowa winter!

I also purchased the iPod adapter. I don't use iPods, but my friends like the hooking it up.

Cons: Sometimes the touch screen is temperamental, but I use the remote most of the time.

Could not be happier.

I have had this unit for a week and love it. The display is nice and bright, easy to see except when sunlight is directly on it. The screen automatically switches to backup camera when you reverse. Bluetooth music streaming and hands free calling work flawlessly. I dont know about satallite radio as I didnt get it. Pandora does work via my Iphone and Bluetooth streaming.

Cons: The touch screen can be a bit laggy and not quite as snappy and sensitive as I would like it to be.

It kind of started to freeze up today as I was watching a dvd. The video frame rate slowed way down, but the audio was fine. I ejected and restarted and it worked fine.

Not happy

The unit is very slow in all aspects like when you toggle the radio station presets it takes 3-4 seconds for the info to change after the station changes. When you turn the car off the station you had it on should resume but for whatever reason it changes to a random station that isn't even in the presets unless it's by chance. I have tried countless settings to change it. The unit doesn't like the older iPods plus no video. I would not recommend this unit. I bought it to upgrade the stock head unit in my wife's civic and she hates it. The Bluetooth works great with the iPhone but that's it. Sorry if I come off harsh but I feal like I wasted the money I spent.

Sounds great, interface could use some work

The stereo was a breeze to install in my 05 mustang. The online instructions were straight forward. The harness I bought from Sonic worked like a charm and the physical adapter fit like a glove.

The stereo sounds great but the interface could use some work. It is slow to register the button presses and there is no real graphics with the music you are playing. Just some squiggly lines on the bottom 1/4 of the screen. No equalizer type interface.

The bluetooth works with my android x phone well including the ability to download phone contacts. The bluetooth sounds great. The DVD works great. The FM radio sounds great but again the user interface makes it difficult to switch between FM preset groups.

Overall, buy this stereo, it sounds great and looks good installed. I like that it has a knob for volume.

Great product!

I have had this unit for about 6 months now. I am very pleased with the way this unit works. The bluetooth phone option works great. I could never go back to a car without bluetooth calling. The sound quality / power output of this unit is a vast improvement over the factory stereo unit I replaced in my 2000 Toyota 4runner. This head unit fits perfectly in the factory opening. My only complaint is that the screen can be a little sluggish at times. Overall I am very pleased with this unit and I would definitely buy it again.

Great stereo, Plays fantastic. I have just a basic setup, no amps or extras like my son has in his car and my stereo sounds better than his. The rear view camera hooks up to the stereo and shows a great picture, the touch screen is nice also. It takes a while to learn how to use the controls, but when you do its great.
