I purchased this set of Polk speakers 2 way with crossover as a supplement for my 2012 Harley Davidson Road King Classic to complete an Audio setup that I had Republic Harley Davidson of Stafford, TX. Install on my bike, which originally was not working correctly due to some equipment failure that in term I had no choice but to return part of it back to the store I ordered from. The result after installing the new Polk speaker system inside a pair of pods was improved to a certain degree. Highs and mid bass were their, but I was still finding that it was lacking deep bass. I headed back on the search for a subwoofer, I found a subwoofer water proof 8" that should be able to help. For the Polk speakers, I would recommend to anyone that they also add a subwoofer in order to feel the tunes play better. Good luck! Sincerely, djbobbylorenzo.

Good speakers
Put these in a 330ci convertible. It was a tight fit! But worked out and the fact they are marine speakers I like since door speakers may have to handle the elements. The basket could use more reinforcement.
