The Flax Cone is built of a premium flax fiber core placed between two thin sheets of glass fiber. Flax is a fiber with the unique ability to reproduce a very natural sound without colouration, with a rich reproduction in the midrange and clear bass strokes. Its lightness offers great dynamics, due to Flax fiber being twice as light as glass fiber, as it is hollow. Its' rigidity sustains the bass and provides damping to deliver a premier listening experience. Its very low elasticity makes it ideal for increasing the flexural rigidity module of a sandwich structure.

The most clear and soft sound
I have this in my 06 Chevy trailblazer, this set of speakers is impressive, the quality is beautiful, the price is too high but the only word I have is thanks Focal you make me smile every day when I driving. I run this with JL audio HD 600.4 amp, tho channel for R and L tweeter and mid-high with the passive crossover and two-channel for mid-bass without crossover (active full range) the sound is loud and clear!
