These subs POUND
i got two of these bad boys wired down to 1 ohm on a 1200 watt lanzar vibe amp and it SLAMMMMS. the amp is old and cant keep up with the subs but my vision gets a little blurry and my back window flexes some. all this in a SINGLE CAB TRUCK. .i cant even imagine how these things would perform in an suv.

Phoenix Gold Rsdc124
Amazing value, this sub holds its own, its a monster for the price i paid. 1 12inch with a 800 watt amp in a H3 sounded like 2 12's. Would purchase again.

Great!
Have one so far and it pounds hard in just a sealed .7 cubic feet box, I just ordered another one I was so impressed.

Good job P.G!!!!
I consider myself to have a LITTLE audio knowledge, No audiophile though. Installed my first amp and subs when I was 13 (1991.) Owned my first car and system in 1996. Became a BIG fan of the Old Orion XTR and Colbalt series, Fosgate X series with the reversible X over card, Alpine and a couple of other hard hitters at the time. Phoenix Gold was out of my league at the time but I had heard of them. I didn't really get into the SQ part of audio until recently. I mean like the past 5 years. Now, I haven't owned the really really expensive subs myself but know people and have heard lots of different subs. I must say, for the price tag, this sub is the BEST hands down IMO. I would rate it along the lines of a $300 sub easy. It performs VERY good in the low tones and can get in the middle fairly good but that's what your component sets are for!! I would recommend this sub to any beginning SQ guy out there. Don't be fooled though!! This bad boy will give you SPL too, if you ask it too!!! Grab one for the hell of it. Give it a try.
