In addition, the CTX series also features a conex spider with integrated tinsel leads for enhanced long linear excursion. Single 8-Ohm Subwoofer drivers, like the Image Dynamics CTX108, are intended to be wired as a pair to achieve a final impedance of 4-Ohms or even 2-Ohms when wiring up four at a time. The CTX108 is designed for different wiring variations in mind, including the addition of more subwoofers - without having to spend too much.
