I bought these subs as my first subs that I have ever had. I'm only running 125 RMS into each one (I have 2) and they bump pretty good. I'm getting a 2 channel 250 RMS amp when I get more money but I already the amp I'm using right now (yes I know they subs are being underpowered but they still bump). My friends have 2 12 inch subs with double the RMS mine have and I still hit harder. Recommend these to anybody.

I used this kit for one Alpine Type R 12 with an MRP-M500 amp and it works perfectly! I don't know if it's true 8 gauge, but I'm sure it's not more than 10 gauge. Been using it for a month and haven't had any problems.

I HAVE A ALPINE CDE-103BT HEAD UNIT, LANZAR VIBE 286 AMP, KENWOOD KFC-W2512 SUBS, BOSS 3.5 FARAD CAPACITOR, LEGACY LXR4 CROSSOVER, WITH HITRON WIRING. THEY HIT VERY HARD, PLAY FOR HOURS, AND ARE GETTING PURE 300 WATTS RMS. MY FRIEND WHO IS "KICKER THIS, AND KICKER THAT" HAS $2,000.00 IN HIS CAR. I HAVE $640.00 DOLLARS EVEN. NOW, WE ALL KNOW WHOSE SYSTEM SOUNDS A LITTLE BETTER. BUT FOR $1,360 CHEAPER, THAT LITTLE DIFFERENCE ISN'T EVEN NOTICED! NO CONS, ALL PRO'S !!!!!

i bought 2 of these, they sound good when tuned right, i got them hooked up to just above 600W rms through a ssl 1500w mono amp. there are a lot louder sounding subs out there but for the price, i was shocked. the only weird thing is, is one broke in more than the other one did, so it hits the backing plate before the other sub is so i have to turn it down just for the one. but overall great product and i would recommend these to anyone wanting a good deal
