Installed this in an 06 Sierra with Bose and on star. On star will not work with this unit but that's fine with me because I could care less about on star and it was about 60% less than one with on star support. I am using the Rca inputs. It would have been nice if the Rca cables were labeled but one quick look at the diagram on the included instructions and I was able to figure it out. I did not notice any static or feedback in the door chime but it does have a different tone and is a bit louder. All in all I would recommend this product as long as you don't care about on star.

Installed on my 03 Z-71 w/Bose and factory amp (deactivate). Worked as described but the door chime from the unit sounds some what distorted. Not a big concern but is a little annoying. Other than that it works great.
