Tight!
I've used these for three system builds, now and don't see a better product on the market for its intended use. Since most amps and many EQs, Active Crossovers, DSPs, etc. are usually placed in the middle or rear of the vehicle and the batteries are often under the hood, fusing just after the battery and just before the component is necessary if you care to protect your equipment. And, if you have multiple components (EQ/DSP, Active Crossover, Amps, etc.) its best to run a large gauge main power feed to the vicinity of such equipment and then distribute it locally. Different components will require different amperages - with a fused distribution block, you can install appropriately rated fuses for each component, all in one small block. It keeps installs solid, neat/clean and is very cost effective.
