Great budget Sub
I'm driving this sub with an Earthquake Mini D1000 wired at 2-ohms in the sealed box that Sonic offers at a discount with this sub and I am very pleased. The sub is rated at 450 watts RMS and the Mini D1000 is rated at 360 watts RMS into a 2-ohm load. The combination is quite impressive for such budget conscious gear. Now that the sub is broken in the amplifier is tuned up nearly all the way and it still plays very cleanly with several styles/genres of music.
In the sealed enclosure, the cone has considerable travel but remains tight and punchy.
Sub has been in a teen's daily driver for 7 months now.
I would definitely use this in a budget build in the future.
