very nice sub

This skar vvx 12d2 is in my opinion better than the p3 Jls re audio. It is power hungry and will handle double its power rating if u know what our doing on the install and setting your gain. Skar is a growing and phenomenal company that isn't trying to make a quick buck,and at same time make a great subwoofer. It hits every note low and high if u want it to. It never gets warm or sounds distorted. I have this sub in a 1.8 box in a grand am and it fills the cabin with deep crystal clear bass and its a single setup and in trunk all mirrors shake like crazy . Don't hesitate, just buy it the triple stacked mags are a plus

Excellent Subwoofers

I purchased 4 of these subs in 2010. I pushed them with a BC3500D which puts out 3900@1ohm RMS. The subs were in a ported box tuned to 35hz. They sounded amazing for any music I put through them; 80's, 90's, rock, reggae, dubstep - you name it, I played it. They thumped all day long and then some. Everyone that heard them, loved the way they sounded. These are outstanding subs that can handle at least 1k all day. The only problem I had with these was the terminals were a bit too small. I believe this new version has corrected that.
