Great head unit
I have had this in my Tundra for a month now and I really cannot complain. It was a very simply install for me, and I'm not really an install guy. All of the modes work well. Switching between modes can be a bit of a pain. I would suggest buying the available remote control if you drive a large cabin vehicle to cut down on the amount of reaching you do. Bluetooth audio streams clearly, although it does take a few seconds to start up.
Updating the maps, so far, appears to be a complete nightmare. I've given up, but know this, I didn't try too hard.
My one big complaint is that the USB navigation is crappy. It's only one level deep and if you have more than a gig or 2 on your stick, its SLOW SLOW SLOW. But I listen on my iphone most of the time.
Pandora streaming is a bit cumbersome to launch as you have to make the exact right button presses in the right order, but it very nice to have once on.
The HUGE let down with the unit is the Smart Access. 1) you can pair your phone for either phone calls and music or phone calls and smart phone pairing. Why are these separate functions? 2) I have gotten smart access to successfully launch 1 time ever. I don't know what I did differently. But, I'm not heart broken because it appears to be a useless function anyway.
