These speakers have performed well over six months. They are partially sheltered from the wx but get an occasional wash when washing the deck of the boat. So far so good.

I bought these JBL speakers and hope they will be what I wanted... I mounted them in my 18 speed boat that we run on the Hudson river in NY. I am powering them with a JL 500 watt amp and soo far great !!!

Awesome sound from these 6x9's
These are the first sets of JBL marine speakers I have purchased, and they are truly remarkable, they are 2 way but they have amazing sound and clarity throughout all ranges. Bass is very strong and clear, I had purchased a separate bass tube with an amp but after installing 4 of these I ended up not needing an amp nor a bass tube. Extremely happy with their performance, bass and clarity. The best clean sounding 6x9 speakers I've ever owned.

Great Speakers
I have 2 sets of these and 2 sets of the 6200's in my boat, putting quite a bit of power to them, they sound great!! No problems in over 3 yrs.

Excellent speakers
Really great sounding speakers... Sold bass nice highs.. Good price. These JBL speakers were already in a boat I purchased. speakers look old completely worn out. One had a dime size hole through the cone.. Once I installed stereo I couldn't believe how good they sound..as if they where new..with the dime size hole... That convinced me that these JBL's was the brand for me.

Best bang for the buck!
Last set lasted 5 years! They are mounted low and get really wet every trip. Sound is great with a 4x100 amp. Could ask for more for the price. Love them!
