Very satisfied!

I had a JBL GT Bass Pro 12, was fine with it until the amp started acting up. As I was shopping around for a replacement I saw this vega but couldn't find reviews for it so I wanted to write one.

When I first installed this box and turned it on I thought that I liked the JBL a little better, but after allowing break in time and adjusting everything more, this vega hands down hits harder and cleaner. At the price point and convenience level of this sub, I couldn't be happier with it. Ive put full blown systems in every vehicle ive owned, right now I have a ford fusion with the 12 speaker Sony and I wanted to add more bass and depth to my music but not have to put the time and work into building a full system since I plan on getting another truck soon. This was a perfect solution and it absolutely pounds for what it is. If you're looking for a cheap and easy option to add bass to your vehicle I would definitely recommend giving this cerwin vega some real consideration. Hope this helps someone else who couldn't find many reviews on this setup.

Great value

Just purchased this powered sub. I normally build my own boxes, but this comes already done and tuned. I’m still waiting on the break in period before I really crank it up. It sounds good and adds a complete fullness to the music. I’m not lazy, I just wanted something easy and I’m happy.

First of all, I am an old basehead back from the 80s so I have my experience with nearly every brand speaker there is. Cerwin Vega has always been the go-to brand for newbies and for the serious thumpers. I just wanted some deep base to go with my four 6-in woofers in my Silverado so I blindly bought this setup not knowing what to expect because of the very limited reviews. Well, let me tell you if you are wanting to add another dimension but not break the bank or piss off your neighbors too much then you need to grab this while it's on sale. Very very easy to install and delivers a sound that will blow you away. I have the sub and the amp turned down as low as they can go and it fills the area outside of my truck with base. If you want an all-in-one package but you are on the fence about which one to get, go with this one I promise you you will be satisfied. Shipping is extremely fast as I ordered on Friday and got it on Sunday. Great all-around experience from SE, a trusted name in the industry.

Specialty item

I wouldn't waste my time getting these. I ordered a set and got an email saying its a specialty item and could take 8 weeks to ship even though it doesn't say anything about that on the item page. Called customer service about it and they just beat around the bush about it so I'm not sure if I am even going to get them anytime soon.

I Love my Cerwin Vega 12" Subwoofer Unit H6TE12SV. First of all, it is pretty big and heavy "Very well made" it ain't cheap however I paid under$200. I had it professionally installed inside the trunk compartment of my little sports car and it almost filled the entire trunk but it did fit. Now the Sound: This Baby is nice! It BUMPS the Bass of my Bose / Kenwood system PERFECT!!! My whole body vibrates when I turn up the little wired Bass Remote knob that is included. As I drove by the gas station, heads were turning. Then the cops got behind me, I had to turn it down. Okay, I give this unit on a scale of 1 to 10 a "15". I Love it.
