JVC makes great products for the budget minded consumer, this unit rocks! It is feature packed! I love the ease of installation, the Android Auto is not as good as a factory unit but performs great every time, the screen is not super responsive but shows a great picture. All and all for someone looking to make the switch to something better than a single din or does not want to pay for integrated GPS I would recommend this unit again and again!

Garbage!
Don't waste your money. Numerous issues with Android Auto. Updated firmware to newest version and Android Auto is less buggy but Bluetooth no longer works. Truth is no manufacturer makes a head unit that is on par with tech in 2018. Guess I have to go back to using a tablet as a head unit. Going to return this product.

Great upgrade..
I purchased this unit to replace a Pioneer deck that had been getting on my nerves. Integration with my phone was never as seemless as it should be with that unit. I like JVCs for their sound quality and decided to take a chance on a unit with Android Auto support. It's been great! I've only had the unit for about a month and running the latest firmware, but the integration has been really good. Having the native integration with the phone is far more reliable than the manufacturer provided apps. There is an app to have Yelp and YouTube on the screen, it's not that great. There are a lot of menus and screens, without physical buttons (except for volume and home), you're entirely dependent on the touchscreen. It's been responsive so far and navigating is easier with the home button. If you don't need a disc player and want Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, this should be on the short list.
