Excellent clarity
These speaker can handle a suprising amount of bass without distorting, even at high volumes. They sound crystal clear and they kick like 8" subs. Well worth the money.

MTX TERMINATOR #653 KILLER SPEAKERS FOR THE MONEY
I was going to replace the speakers in my 2000 Saturn SL2 with factory original speakers. In doing research I found the MTX terminators to be a better replacement. For my Saturn SL2, the fit was flawless and I used the oruginal fastners. I did solder the wires to the speakers though. The sound quality blows away any factory speaker by miles. I never knew this stock radio had such good sound.
I can verifie that they do fit a 2000 saturn SL2 in all four speaker holes.

Great unit
Both this unit for my 2015 Nissan Altima S. I was really apprehensive about spending so much on this unit, but it came with several features that I desired and overall I am very satisfied with the unit. It is worth every penny.
First, the unit came with physical buttons for reaching the home menu, adjusting the volume, and switching stations/songs. While I use the steering wheel controls while driving my vehicle, I tend to use interface buttons when parked or going through a drive-thru as they offer much greater response time than the steering wheel buttons.
Second, the unit came with Apple CarPlay which allowed for greater integration with my iPhone. It also supports Android as well. The unit also comes with a USB extension cord so don't go out and buy one like I did (although I prefer the one I bought as it looks more factory). This allows for easier integration with your phone of choice.
Originally, I purchased a different unit for my car and I later returned it because it did not allow me to play music and access other menus at the same time; ie, having a favorite song play while in the EQ menu to adjust sound quality. This Sony unit allows such capabilities.
The GUI is very clean and simple, very easy to use without even having to read the manual. I was able to find my way around the settings and adjust the settings accordingly with no problems whatsoever. The switch from the Sony GUI to the iOS is fluid, quick, and seamless.
On starting the car, it takes roughly 15 to 20 seconds for the unit to enter ready mode. For me, this is not an inconvenience as this is usually how long it takes me to get settled; seat belt on, phone connected, etc.
The touch screen is very responsive to the touch. I noticed that I need to be careful when selecting radio stations as keeping my finger on the station icon for a split second too long will cause it to unintentionally save said station as a 'favorite." I am not sure if this due to the programming delay or my carelessness. Otherwise, I have no problems with the display recognizing my finger tapping it.
There is an option for rear view camera and this can be disabled in the settings menu if you do not have a rearview camera. There is also options for connecting via bluetooth (which I have not tried) and regular USB (which I also have not tried). There is no CD slot, so this unit cannot play CDs. This doesn't bother me as all my music is on my phone. There are plenty of ports for subwoofers and additional components as well.
The only thing I don't like, and this is very minor dislike, is the "for your safety" message that appears each time the unit is started. It requires you to tap "ok" to clear. I haven't researched if this has been removed in a current firmware update or if there is a workaround.

Great Speakers for the price, but mid bass is lacking.
Okay, so I got these speakers 2 months ago when the price was $40. I wanted to replace my stock rear deck speakers in my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid, as I did in the front doors in summer 2017... They looked nice, they are much more durable than the Pioneers up front, and I thought it was be nice addition to my Honda Civic in terms of Mid bass. Installing wasn't too bad. The screws that came with these speakers were too long and thin for the Adapters I bought, I would've had to drill through sheet metal. So, i bought shorter screws with a wider thread. After I installed, I was disappointed in its mid bass performance. The speakers I have in my front doors are 45w RMS Pioneers I got cheap from Best buy, and they sound much better... However, I think these speakers may need an amp. I don't have one yet, but plan to get one. I haven't applied any deadener to to rear deck yet. Maybe an amp and deadener could help increase mid bass in the car... Or Maybe 8th gen Honda civics need serious work in Acoustic treatment.
On the flip side, they sound pretty clear... But after all, I am running them off a factory radio. That could be partially the reason mid bass is lacking. I don't wanna give a bad review, but I will re-work some things and leave another review.

High Quality & Good Value
I needed to replace my blown-out stock speakers on my 2006 Silverado Z71 Truck. The Terminator653's really pump the sound from my stock head unit. I'll eventually replace my stock head with a new one but won't have to change the speakers as they are ready for more power. Easy to install too. Highly recommend.
