A perfect system starts off with perfect aftermarket car speakers. If you are a fanatic of a great sounding speaker, then the Rockford Fosgate Punch Series is meant for you. It is a full-range speaker with a flex-fit basket to ensure compatibility. By utilizing slots instead of single sized screw holes, allows for a slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted. This becomes useful if you are mounting the speakers in an odd shaped factory speaker location. The integrated concealed crossover hides the crossover inside the basket, decreasing and simplifying installation time. Minimizing the time between taking the speakers out of the box to installing them in your vehicle, the Punch speakers feature an OEM Adapter plate system that allows full-range speaker to fit in certain openings. The adapter plate features "break-away" tabs that can be removed to fit all speaker sizes.
The Punch series speakers feature VAST (Vertical Attach Surround Technique) which increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without complicating installation. The design eliminates the large flat glue surface area which allows the surround to be shifted for increased cone area. With this, nominal efficiency and maximum output capabilities are improved. The P1462 is a 4” x 6" 2-Way speaker that has all the features mentioned above.

Quality, just like the brand
Got these to replace the door speakers in my Pontiac Sunfire, they sound great playing with my Rockford Fosgate Power T1692C, they go low on the bass and have great high's; easy to put in, and Sonic is an awesome company to deal with!

Overall, these speakers are great. I have them powered just off the head unit so with minimal power they have good response and can get very loud with the highs and mids, while having some decent bass too!

When buying these door speakers for my son I was skeptical about how much difference there really would be compared to the OEM speakers. I was amazed at the difference and how you could really notice the sound and how good it is. Very easy to install and a major improvement which which you will be amazed to hear.

Bought these for my dash to go with the 6x9 version of these in the rear. Good, loud speaker. Being smaller than the 6x9s the bass doesn't go as low, but they produce tight, "punchy" bass from about 120-140Hz and up. These produce very good highs. Quite crisp, although not the sharpest, but still clear. Only dedicated tweeters with their frequency filters can be better. I trust the Fosgate name. Good quality and price. Sonic always as the best prices! Worth it? Heck yea!

I have owned many Rockford Fosgate products in the past. I have to say I have never been disappointed by the brand. The price was GREAT and Sonic Electronix shipped out the speakers fast. The only reason I gave the Overall rating a 4 is because they were shipped UPS and I got them 4 days after I was suppose to get them. I know this is not Rockford or Sonic's fault. Keep up the GREAT service Sonic.
