The DS Series 6x8 2-ways add the depth that's missing from your factory sound. Neatly tucked away behind your factory grilles, the DSC6804s make the most of the DS series' technology and your tunes. A zero-protrusion PEI tweeter gives your highs the crispness your factory speakers just couldn't muster and the woofer takes care of the rest.
Since your job's already likely to be easier, take the extra step of adding in some NVX Sound Dampening to keep out the road noise and accentuate the power of these speakers.
These 6x8s really shine when properly powered, built to handle up to 50 watts RMS. If your factory or aftermarket stereo can't put that out, put a little more effort in and add a Kicker DX amp to really push these further.
Stamped steel framework, polypropylene cones with Extended Voice Coil technology and more deliver high-quality sonic satisfaction. The DS series employs high-sensitivity motors to bump your volume up. Extremely pleased with these. a Very nice upgrade from stock door speakers. Installed 4 in my Ford Flex to replace the stock Sony speakers and they made a world of difference. !00% recommend for a cheap but quality upgrade. I have had them installed for a little over a year and they get daily use. They still sound as good as day one.
