The Kicker 46L7T124 represents the 12" pinnacle of Kicker's thin-mount square technology, designed for enthusiasts who demand air displacement in space-critical environments. By utilizing the iconic Solo-Baric square diaphragm, this driver achieves roughly 20% more surface area than a standard 12" round subwoofer. This geometric advantage allows the L7T 12 to move significantly more air, providing the visceral, deep-reaching bass response of a traditional large-format driver while maintaining a mounting depth of just over four inches.
Engineering-wise, the 46L7T124 is a robust acoustic foundation, handling a powerful 600 Watts RMS. It features a one-piece SoloKon injection-molded cone and a 360-degree back bracing system, ensuring the piston remains rigid and distortion-free under high excursion. The thermal management system is anchored by Kicker's UniPlate technology—a solid pole piece and backplate assembly that acts as a high-capacity heat sink to protect the voice coils during intense use. With its Dual 4-Ohm Voice Coil (DVC) configuration, this transducer offers the system-building flexibility needed to extract maximum power from high-performance mono-block amplifiers.

Big bass outa slim
I have owned countless subs in my life. I have a tundra with limited space. After having 3 Rockford Slim P3’s in 1.0cubic feet boxes sealed for 6 years I figured I’d try a ported application. I made a 2.0 cubic box ported made to specs for the L7T 12 and boy does it Slam!!! Especially for a slim!!! Im super happy!! And it hits the lows very very well!! Great job kicker!! Great speaker!!

Upgraded these from the 10" comp RT woofers. Box was narrow and 1.6 cu ft, so I swapped in these. What a massive upgrade. These woofers pound. Really happy with them. If space is tight, these are a great way to go!
