NVX likes to provide their customers a high level of consistency when it comes to their products, especially when it comes to their speakers. When designing the V-Series Speakers, NVX had to keep the standards just as high as their X & N-Series. The V-Series Speakers met that and then some! With just the power from a standard head unit, these speakers lit up the interior of a demo car with brilliant highs and rich, powerful mids which really brought the music to life. They are confident that these speakers are legitimate contenders for high-quality aftermarket speakers.
This series is one of the most versatile speakers in NVX’s catalog. Not only do the V-Series Speakers come in 4”, 5.25”, 6”, 6.5”, 6x8”, & 6x9” coaxials, but they are also available in component sets as well. There is no one else on the market today that delivers this level of sound quality at this price point for component speakers. NVX stands by that. The component sets are available in both 5.25 in. and 6.5 in. configurations. Each set of components comes with the 25mm VSPTW tweeters and two crossover networks engineered to beautifully complete the natural roll-off from the tweeters to the mid-woofers.
Just like all of NVX’s other products, the V-Series Speakers are designed with long-lasting durability and high-quality sound in mind. Each cone is designed from a lightweight polypropylene material that provides your speakers with accurate mid and low notes. The Nitrile Butadiene rubber surround supports the linear movement for optimal accuracy for your speakers. The stamped steel basket is engineered for a sturdy foundation. The Y30 Ferrite motor structure maintains exceptional control over the driver for tight, crisp reproduction. The 1" 3/16 High-temperature TSV voice coil provides superior current distribution while effectively dissipating heat.
When it comes to designing the V-Series Speakers, NVX wanted to make sure they kept the same high-quality sound from their other speakers. NVX took the same silk-dome tweeter found in their N-Series speakers and improved upon them by increasing the surface area from 20mm to 25mm. This enhancement allows these speakers to directly compete with speakers 2-3 times the price. The tweeters deliver rich, warm treble with remarkable clarity and definition. Hear what all the noise is about with!

Very Clear Speakers!
I previously made a review for the V-series 6.5 component speakers. Long story short, I had all 6 of these NVX V-series speakers (components in the front, and these wonderful coaxials in the rear) installed into a 2014 Ford Focus and powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp that feeds them about 85 watts rms. (in my other review I mistakenly referred to my Belva amp, which is actually powering my subwoofer).
These speakers come in very clear. When my friends got a ride in my new car with these new speakers, they were very impressed. And they know that I'm a music producer / audiophile so my music ALWAYS has to be clear. For only around $80 I got excellent sound quality. The highs are good, the mids are dang-near perfect. The lows are present, but not very powerful. (but I have a 12inch sub to take care of bass power).
All in all, these get a 9 out of 10. Very good quality products.

Ive been into car audio since 1993. Ive worked in many local shops as well. Ive used MB Quart Boston Hertz JL Rockford Alpine and for the past ten years nothing but Focal. These are on par with the Focal V series maybe even the K's. Only knock I have is a no tweeter attenuation.

I'm a beginner for car installation and the customer service was very helpful in assisting me installing the car componet speakers. The speaker quality compared to my factory new truck speakers was a huge improvement. Sonic Rocks.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a review on the product's performance as I was unable to use it in the manner for which it was manufactured due to incompatible size issues. The speakers I have are the CVMPCL6.5 - 6.5" STROKER PRO 200W Midrange Gold Speakers. Pairing these speakers with the NVX XBAF65 Speaker Baffle Ring Kit spawned two issues:
1) The mounting depth for the baffles is 2-5/8" (2.625 inches), whereas the mounting depth for the speakers is 2.930 inches. This minor difference was seemingly insignificant until the second issue reared its ugly head.
2) The width of the baffles is much too small for my speakers. I can't seem to find information on the exact dimensions of the baffles as I have not yet contacted NVX. But the width (diameter) of my speakers is < 5.76 inches. This is obviously too wide for the baffle because the baffle would not go on without a fight. I pulled, tugged, stretched, and strained nearly damaging the speaker. I then decided to make a few modification cuts to the baffle to accommodate the sheer width of the speaker, but the result was a shredded baffle and a traumatized speaker.
Now I'm stuck with three unusable baffles because I bought two pair!
Regarding speaker width, the CVMPCL6.5 - 6.5" STROKER PRO 200W Midrange Gold Speakers have unremovable hardware tabs attached to them that I can only assume are there to somehow protect the speaker leads. They stick out from the speaker basket making it impossible to properly install the baffle and, in turn, causing the magnet to protrude out of the base of the baffle a lot farther than it would have if the baffle were wide enough.
Regarding the attached photos, the unmodified baffle from the first pair was used to demonstrate the issue.

**** VENDOR RESPONSE ****
The XBAF65 are made for nearly all 6.5" speakers. The Cerwin-Vega pro midrange seem to be the culprit as their depth and basket are atypical.
We will do our best to come out with a new, larger "oversized 6.5" version and name it XBAF675. It will take us some time to tool and come out with it, but hope you enjoy the feedback.

I wrote and earlier review. I made an error. The NVX speakers I purchased were the V series, but the size for the front were 6.5" not 6". The back speakers were correct. 6x9 N series 55wt. Whether its 6" or 6.5 the sound result will be equally as good. Smaller speakers have the tendency to sound a tad bit better imo......I could have gone with a 6" either will work, but the vehicle is designed for a 6.5".

The best thing about these speaker baffles are the fact that they are rubber vs the easy to find foam. They definitely add a nice level of water resistance with the rubber. Not to mention the sound quality improvement. It's seriously a night and day difference. Trust me, just buy them!

I purchased 2 sets of these NVX VSP65 speakers for my Fiat 500 and they fit perfectly in both the front and back . I was hesitant to buy these because I have never heard of them but with all the great reviews I took a gamble and I am glad I did . They sound fantastic with perfect midrange and very clean , crisp , and clear tweeters and that was before I added the amp . When I added the Boss CXX2705 amp these things really came alive . Not cheap speakers but top notch speakers at a great price . Very well built and quit heavy at 7 pounds a pair and will give any name brand speakers a run for their money . Very satisfied and will use sonic for all my car audio needs in the future !!

I like these baffle rings because it gives that added protection for my mid-bass component from any water that may slip through the window sill. It also helps with reducing any unwanted vibration noise. The egg crate foam placed behind the speaker on the inner lining of the door helps absorb waves to add more decrease in vibration.
The silicone-rubber material is going to last a long time and can be easily trimmed for a custom fit.
