If you're looking for wimpy subs, you've come to the wrong place. Kicker's CompVR Series subwoofers are nothing but pure, high-quality low-end mayhem.
But seriously, these subwoofers are built to live up to the brand's name. Combining proven technology, rugged materials and more than 40 years of speaker design experience, Kicker's CompVR series reflects some of the best performance of the company's history.
Available in 4- and 2-ohm versions across the board, the CompVR subwoofers are built for all kinds of systems. With dual voice coils, you can set up your subs for any application, whether you're just jamming tunes on the way to work or shooting for first place at a competition.
As a member of the CompVR family, the CVR102 offers all of the series' features. The 10" sub has a peak power handling of 700 watts, with the power RMS coming in at 350watts. Its dual 2-ohm voice coils come with an added bonus to help expedite installation, spring-loaded wire terminals.
But along with all that, they include form with function. Get a Kicker subwoofer grille to dress up and protect your investment.
Kicker's proprietary cone technology, SoloKon, does a lot more than look pretty. The injection-molded cone ensures a rigid surface that helps eliminate distortion. The red stitching stands out, but joins the cone and the back brace into a single system. A stamped steel basket reduces vibration, giving you mean bass with quality sound.
But the CompVR also comes with a pedigree of reliability. Perimeter venting and UniPlate technology keeps your subs cooler and running longer.
These are the subs you're looking for. Get at least one of the Kicker CompVR subwoofers at Sonic Electronix. Let everyone around you feel the thump and put these in your cart.

Great Speaker
I really like the quality of these speakers! For a 10" subwoofer it puts out great power! Smooth bass and great sound. It could use a little more bass, but all in all its perfect for my truck.

Shipping to Hawaii
Third time is a charm! Mahalo to SE for the speedy efficient shipping of my 2) 10" subs! I attempted my first 2 orders via "west coast" distributors, and received 1st a phone call to confirm cancellation per shipping costs & 2nd absolutely no contact yet a cancellation per my login to company website. Yet you folks at SE didn't hesitate one bit in getting these out here to Hawaii. I'm stoked!
Mahalo nui Loa,
One happy lady!
I'll be back to review the actual product after my install, A hui hou.

Kicker greatness
I started with a Kicker 4 ohm, but the amp wasn't enough so I upgraded to a DVC 2 ohm and wired it down to 1 ohm to get everything out of the amp possible. I am not disappointed at all. I don't even have it turned up half-way up.

NICE BASIC BOX, BUT.......
I BOUGHT TWO NVX 10 INCH SUBS, SO I DECIDED TO JUST BUY THIS BASIC BOX CONSIDERING THE SPECS MATCH UP, AND ITS THE SAME BRAND AS THE SUBS. GOT THE BOX AND SPEAKERS ON THE SAME DAY, WENT TO INSTALL THE SUBS INTO THE BOX, AND THEY DON'T FIT. WHAT!? THE HOLE IS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR THE SUBS TO SIT FLUSH, THEY WOULD NEED TO BE ROUTED OR CUT TO BE BIGGER. NORMALLY THATS NOT AN ISSUE, BUT I BOUGHT THESE SPECIFICALLY AND DO NOT FEEL I SHOULD HAVE TO DO THIS WHEN THEY CLEARLY SHOULD HAVE FIT. SONIC WAS COOL ABOUT THE RETURN AND GAVE ME NO ISSUES AT ALL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALIVE!

Not bad for the money.
I really didn't feel like making a new box so decided to order one. For the money it's not terrible, however it was only sealed in corners that are easily seen. All the corners need to be sealed on the front side of the box which I did.
The connectors are functional but wouldn't recommend if you want to push a lot of power since they have small connections inside the box.
After the fixes and modifications to the connectors I'm happy, mostly cause I have a decent box without building it myself.
