The Alpine SS-SB10 Shallow Preloaded Subwoofer Enclosure is engineered specifically for vehicles with limited space, measuring just 5.25" deep to deliver reliable bass without compromising cargo or cabin area. The enclosure features a 10-inch S-Series subwoofer that utilizes a front-mounted magnet motor and a lightweight, powerful neodymium magnet to achieve its minimal footprint while still delivering powerful performance with up to 300W RMS power handling. Installation is made flexible and secure by four adjustable, foam-padded steel mounting brackets, which help dampen vibration for optimized acoustic quality regardless of where the enclosure is placed within the vehicle.
Despite its compact form factor, the SS-SB10 is designed to deliver "Big Output" by integrating four unique Alpine Subwoofer Technologies. These innovations ensure high power handling and low distortion. The Radial Vented VC Heat Sink & Airflow Management System actively regulates temperature by forcing air over the voice coil heat sink. This is paired with an FEA Optimized Dual-Sided Machined CRC Motor Structure, which creates a symmetrical magnetic field to reduce distortion and boost overall output. Furthermore, extreme mechanical performance is achieved through the FEA Optimized Injection Molded TPE Spider with Pass-Through Gap Design, providing over 50mm of peak-to-peak excursion, and the FEA Optimized Surround, which maintains linearity and cone area integrity for accurate, controlled bass even at maximum volume.
