Sincerely a good subwoofer
I have been in the market to add a subwoofer to my car audio and wanted to make sure that I had something with a crisp and accurate sound, while giving punchy bass that didn’t blow my trunk off. Alpine has been a good brand that I have used in the past, so I took the risk of buying this newly released 12” dual 2 ohm subwoofer. It’s wired to 4 ohms with my audioque aq3500.1d amp and it sounds amazing. I’m still breaking it in, but the difference is immediately noticed compared to having my Bose speakers alone. This is such an accurate sub and even having just one in a sealed 0.93 cubic foot box brings a lot of punch. When I can fully unleash this thing, it might be too loud even! If you’re wondering if this is enough bass, I can promise you that it is. Great space saver for my trunk and I compare this experience to having a soundbar for your tv - you don’t know how much better it can sound until you hear it yourself. I’ll most likely never go back to stock in a car with this amazing combo.
