The new Sony GS series of amplifiers are the perfect way to get a great system in your vehicle. Whether you are expanding into a full-blown aftermarket setup, or are just looking to integrate better overall performance into your OEM setup, the GS Series has you covered. These amplifiers have been purposed-engineered with High Level Inputs - with Auto Turn-On - to integrate into most vehicles with an OEM headunit and also come equipped with Gold Plated RCA inputs for installs with a proper Aftermarket Headunit; both delivering the best possible audio transfer. These GS series amplifiers are also designed with a stylish heatsink and removable cover - which inconspicuously houses a full crossover board.
The XM-GS100, specifically, is a Monoblock amplifier that is capable of outputting a CEA Certified 330 watts RMS at 4 ohms. For setups that require a bit more power, the amplifier is stable down to 2 ohms, providing 600 watts RMS to its one channel. 330 watts is perfect to a setup that aims at being efficient while simply filling in the low end that lacks in many systems. On the other hand, 600 watts is well above 'modest' and is perfect for the individual that prefers sound quality over "SPL" but still wants to "feel" the bass.
The Sony GS Series line of amplifiers are purpose-built to be as flexible and user/installer friendly as physically possible - that begins with the amplifiers' small footprint. At 10-3/4 in width, 8" in depth and only 2-1/8" in height, the Sony GS Series is capable of fitting underneath most seats, behind most seats or along the side panel of most trunk cargo areas. This allows you or your installer to build the system in a way that best fits the space provided by the vehicle.
The XM-GS100 has a removable top panel that conceals a fully variable 12 dB/octave Low-Pass filter crossover. To maximize your audio's bass potential the XM-GS100 also features a fully variable 0 - +10 dB @40 Hz bass boost circuit to increase the overall low frequency response. Staying true to its GS Series pedigree, the XM-GS100 is equipped with gold-plated RCA inputs, speaker-connection outputs and power/ground/REM connections. In addition, all these connections are 'press' screw connects that maximize the area of the cables used. Not only does this insure that the amplifier receives the best possible current/signal, but it also makes sure that your system delivers you with transparent, accurate and high-fidelity audio.

NVX XKIT42
This is the perfect kit for anything around 1000 watts RMS. I have it hooked to a NVX JAD1200.1, and it is perfect. I literally have nothing bad to say about this kit. Every wire is true to gauge and it comes with plenty of wire, even 40ft of speaker wire! The RCA works great and the wires are strong and flexible. It'd be nice if it was a little cheaper, but it's definitely worth it. NVX makes some of the best, high quality wires and instillation equipment.

this has to be the best connection kit I have ever used.. everything was flawlessly constructed and everything you need is in the kit, remember you get what you pay for... I am using this in a small suv that has no carpet but herculiner throughout and I need pure copper for corrosion resistance.. could be cheaper I guess..

Not your average amp kit.
If you're picking up a bad*ss amp, why wouldn't you pick up a PROPER wiring kit ?!
I've previously used NVX Power/Ground wire for a BIG 3 Upgrade install, and was blown away by the Quality of the wire. High Strand, True To Spec, Super Flexible, Very Durable, and Conducts Very Well. Same can be said for the Speaker Wire and RCAs. I wish NVX made a kit with their higher end RCA cables, but the ones with this kit definitely get the job done. The fact that the Power/Ground come Crimped and Shrink Wrapped really save on install time, and the flex wrap on the Power Wire makes the install look Very professional. I ended up using the other goodies (ties and connectors) for various other things, but its pretty cool that it comes with the kit.

Best wiring overall
when i received this and opened it up i was amazed when i saw how a 4ga. wire could look so much like 0ga. and bend so easily. the speaker wire is so thick that you would not believe that it is speaker wire. the wires also make your music sound so much clearer than any other wiring can. all the components are the best in quality.

Great true 4 gauge wire kit. Both power/ground cables are flexible easy to work with, rca calbe is great. This kit comes with everything you need for an amp install. I will be using NVX amp kits for now on future installs.
