The AutoPage C3-RS730 vehicle security system introduces an entire new level of convenience and security. With both the standard and advanced features, this car alarm security system is perfect for any vehicle. Featuring the standard keyless entry that can be expected from such systems, the C3-RS730 improves this basic feature by extending the paging range of the transmitter. The system is a 2-way alarm that will communicate with the transmitters and give live status updates of the car. Just by looking at the remote on your keychain, you will be able to see if your car is locked, unlocked, running, if a sensor has been set off, and many more functions. Remote start is another convenience feature of the AutoPage C3-RS730. With the push of a button you can start your car without being inside the cabin. Now you will be able to have your car running and your AC/heater on before you even get inside! The package includes a primary LCD remote and a secondary back up remote. And with the C3 technology, a remote is not even required!
Extended Range using the C3 TechnologyWhen Autopage introduced the revolutionary C3 vehicle security systems, the entire industry changed. This feature allows the user to access the systems popular features (such as keyless entry, vehicle security, and remote start) from a compatible cell phone. Instead of relying on the remote to lock, unlock, or turn on the car, they user can access these features directly from their cell phone. Another feature that is included with the C3 technology is GPS tracking. The system will allow you to see exactly where the car is via GPS. With Autopage C3, you will never be out of range!
Remote Start
Allows a vehicles engine to active without physical contact from the user. This feature is useful for warming up your vehicles engine and transmission to operational temperatures. In cold climates you can have your interior hot or in warm climates you can cool it down before use. All of this can be done while in the comfort of your home or office.
LCD Remote
Receive visual confirmations from your vehicles security system or remote start system. Features such as remote start, lock/unlock, arm/disarm and trunk release will appear on the remote’s screen with its current status. An LCD remote can display warning icons when the doors, trunk or hood are open. If your vehicle is tampered with, some remotes display what part of the vehicle was affected.
Keyless Entry
Performs lock and unlock tasks without physical contact with the vehicle. Power door locks can be controlled from several feet away or even within a building using a remote fob. The fob emits a radio frequency that is digitally encoded to prevent frequency stealing so no one can enter into your vehicle without your wireless transmitter.
Dual Zone Shock Sensor
This shock sensor utilizes warning chirps for minor disturbances and will trip the alarm if it detects more serious impacts or disruptions. Most dual zone shock sensors have adjustable sensitivity to reduce false alarms or warnings. These sensors let would-be thieves know that your vehicle is equipped with an advanced alarm system and to keep away.
Dedicated Trunk Release
This unit comes with trunk release capability and remote control integration for OEM alarm or add-on trunk release systems. Pop your trunk using your remote transmitter for convenience and ease of use. Carrying a handful of groceries? Arms tied up with luggage? Pop the trunk without using your key so it’s open and waiting for you when you arrive.
2-Way Paging
Send commands to your remote start or alarm system and receive confirmation that those commands were carried out. Obtain updates on your vehicles security status and get driver pages on the remote. If your vehicle is being tampered with, your remote transmitter will warn you and set off the vehicles alarm.

I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality simple to use and flexible alarm/remote starter system. The 2 way feedback is great for people with OCD, LOL. Instead of double checking whether you forgot to lock the doors or not, all you need to do is look at the LCD display and it shows you the active status of the car, Locked or Unlocked.
And if alarm is triggered it shows you, besides beeping and vibrating exactly what triggered the alarm, door, hood, shock sensor etc...
And you can customise so many alarm features the way you like them to act. 2-way remote is the BEST! You get confirmation exactly when the car has sucessfully started and notified of alarm status, you can even remotely check the car interior temperature if you want! Awesome alarm system and the price is just as satisfying! Get this and you will NEVER regret your decision.

I put this on my Mitsubishi Eclipse and it works great. So good that i just bought another one for my other truck. My only con is that the installation diagram was a little confusing. If you don't have much experience with automotive electrical i would recommend getting it installed by a professional. Other than that great item, I would put it up against a brand like Viper any day.

This was installed in an '01 Ford Explorer in Oct 2009 (it is May 2010 now).
The wires that came with the alarm were long enough for all the connections (too long) and everything fit easily under the dash.
The remote starter was used through the winter and worked reliably all through.
The wiring instructions that came with the alarm were good and sufficient. One thing that was not mentioned in the manuals was how to tackle the car electronics going to sleep 25 minutes after the ignition is turned off. Most modern cars do this to conserve battery and when this happens if not handled properly the alarm gets triggered.
The vibration sensor is difficult to tune correctly and I have not been able to get it work properly. Either it is too sensitive where the alarm gets triggered even when somebody rests against the car, or it remains insensitive to the side panels being kicked.
I only had to purchase 1 relay and a couple of switches for additional functions that I wanted the alarm to do. Everything for a complete install came in the box. (I had to purchase a smart key replacement to interface with the factory security but that was clearly indicated before the purchase).
I performed the install myself (I am an electrical engineer but not used to working on cars at all) and it was fairly easy to install. Finding the right hook up points for all the signals and wiring it all together being the biggest hassle.
The only thing bad that I have noticed with this is that it keeps draining the battery even when the rest of the car electronics goes to sleep. This might become a problem for long term parking or an aging battery.

I had a alarm that I had to replace finally after 10years because of the remotes so I found this AutoPage RS730 which had the same quality as my old system and also added a remote start feature.
Installation was straight forward, same basic connections as my old system with a few new ones in the ignition circuits for the remote start feature. The quality of this alarm is excellent! It is very customizable with a programming mode so it can function the way you want it to. The remotes are made well and I suspect will last a long time.
I would recommend this alarm'remote start to anyone wanting a great value and lots of features. Your car will be protected and you can monitor it easily with the 2 way remote.
Also, don't chance having your car stolen by warming up the car with keys in the ignition, get this auto-starter and have the car running safely with the keys safe in your pocket!
