The Sony XAV-AX6000 is a high-end 6.95" digital media receiver that serves as a significant upgrade over the AX4000, specifically tailored for audiophiles and power users. While it retains the Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto convenience, it introduces a bezel-less capacitive touchscreen for a flush, factory-integrated look and improved touch response. One of its most critical upgrades is the addition of a Micro-HDMI input, allowing you to connect high-definition external sources like smartphones or streaming sticks for use while parked.
The XAV-AX6000 is built for elite audio performance. It features 5-volt high-voltage preamp outputs (Front, Rear, Sub), which provide a much cleaner signal to external amplifiers with a significantly lower noise floor. It also supports LDAC for high-resolution Bluetooth streaming and includes an advanced DSP with a 14-band EQ and precision Time Alignment (accurate to 1 cm). This unit is fantastic! The capacitive touch screen makes this feel luxurious. I installed this unit in my 2006 Silverado and it looks great and is miles ahead of the competition. Never liked the look of the UI on other brands, Sony keeps it sleek and simple.

Best radio with idatalink capabilites
I wanted a radio that did not belong in fast and furious with just enough features to do the job. This one delivers more than I expected and made the stock speakers sound MUCH better than the stock head unit. I was considering upgrading the stock speakers until I heard them on this unit, happy with the levels of punch gained from just this upgrade.
