Excellent shallow mount subwoofer for the money! Well done NVX!
I purchased two of these and have only tried one so far. I have the 10" version in a nicely built prefab box (currently for test purposes) that specs right about 0.81 cuft sealed. I'm currently testing it in a preexisting system in a Honda S2000. Its being powered with a 500 watt NVX VAD series amplifier. I have to say that this subwoofer has impressed me more than I expected. The sound quality is quite good for this dollar amount. I am very happy to see that NVX chose to use a rubber surround as opposed to the foam on many of their other subs. I cannot speak to longevity or durability as I haven't had them long enough to comment on that. I'm planning to install them in the spare tire location in my 2022 Veloster N. At just 3.23" deep there will be plenty of space. I hope NVX continues along this line of design for their future of subwoofers. Thank you NVX! Well done!

There are only two options out there for a 2015 Sierra double cab that I found. I went with the cheaper of the two. You get what you pay for. It doesn't fit as well as I had hoped, but it works.

great option for the money.
I drive a 2017 GMC Sierra Double Cab, I started out with the Kicker Sound Stage plug and play. It was a little pricey but I liked the convenience and plug and play option. Initially it was good, but i found it was lacking, so I purchased this enclosure, I also purchased an NVX VSW104v2 and paired it with a Pioneer GM-D8601. Build quality is solid, the port is located on the side though, and not the front. it fits well under my seat, it does extend farther than the seat on the side but does not affect rear passengers. Overall impressed with the sound quality of the sub woofer in this enclosure. This set up cost less than half of the kicker set up, and out performs it by far. All in all i would purchase again and would recommend.

Terrible rattle from port
The box looks and fits well but the problem I see is cheap construction so be prepared to have to add some support screws to the port so it doesn't rattle

Amazing shallow mount
So I’ve been building more of sq system, not a super high end one but a great one nonetheless. So I have a nice 3 way front stage and a set of coax NVX x6.5” in the rear doors. I loved how well those are doing so as I was looking at shallow subs (very new to me) I didn’t want to spend a ton. Being as though I’ve never had a shallow sub I figured I would start by building a 1.1 cf. box tuned to 34hz and then looked for subs under the $200 point. I found one of these as opened box for like $60! First off I had a 10” full sized sub before this now it wasn’t something that was 1500-2000 watt spl subs it was a P3 in a 1.25cf at 30hz with around 500-600 watts. It sounded great just couldn’t manage the box size in my car the way I wanted. My box now is only 5” deep so I’m able to hide it under my false floor. This NVX is putting out some amazing lows and very clean at that. Everyone who has gotten in A) doesn’t think it’s a 10” and B) nobody believes it’s shallow at that. It really sounds like a mid range full sized sub and I can’t explain how happy I am with this sub! If you’re in need of something shallow whether it’s a 10 or 12 don’t feel like you need to spend $400-$500 on a JL or other overpriced product. These will 1000000% not disappoint!
