Why choose the BE-GM-VETC6 enclosure instead of a universal box?

The C6 Corvette has a unique hatch shape; this box drops into the rear driver-side cubby, staying flush with the floor. It provides the exact airspace required for deep bass without sliding around during high-speed cornering.

I placed the box in position, but it feels loose. How do I secure it?

The enclosure is designed for a friction fit in the rear storage bin. If it feels loose, apply the included heavy-duty Velcro to the bottom or sides to grip the factory carpet, preventing any shifting during spirited driving.

I’m hearing a whistling or air-leak sound after installing my subwoofer. What could cause this?

Inspect the terminal cup on the side of the box; if the plastic housing is loose, air will hiss out. Re-tighten the screws or apply a small bead of silicone sealant around the terminal's inner edge to ensure a 100% airtight seal.

I installed everything but there is no sound from the subwoofer. What should I check?

Check the internal leads inside the box to ensure they didn't vibrate off the subwoofer terminals. In C6 Corvettes, also verify your RCA signal source, as the factory Bose amp requires a specific high-to-low level integration.

Will my Targa top storage or rear hatch space be compromised?

No. This BOOST Box is specifically engineered to allow the Corvette C6 Targa top to be stored in the rear hatch brackets without interference. You maintain full use of the roof storage system and the majority of your trunk.

Is there a pre-loaded version of this custom-fit enclosure available?

Yes, the BE-GM-VETC6 is the pre-loaded version. It comes with a high-excursion NVX subwoofer already mounted and wired, ensuring the driver is perfectly matched to the small-footprint internal air volume of this enclosure.
