This dual 12" enclosure is custom-fit specifically for 2014–2021 Tundra CrewMax trucks. Unlike universal boxes that take up floor space, this mounts behind the rear seat, preserving all passenger legroom while providing 1.1 cu. ft. of optimized airspace.
The 12" model is a tight fit. You must remove the factory plastic storage tray and jack kit first. For a smoother install, use an NVX SDTK3 sound deadening kit on the rear wall to smooth out the surface and prevent the box from rubbing.
Dual 12s require precision. Ensure you are using shallow-mount subwoofers. If contact occurs, add an NVX VSWG12 subwoofer grille to create a physical barrier, protecting the cone from the seat foam and allowing for proper excursion.
Check for the factory carpet padding or floor mats bunching underneath. Trim the padding if necessary so the box sits flat. For the best stability, secure the enclosure using NVX steel mounting brackets to prevent it from shifting.
Check the screws on the terminal plate; they may need a quarter-turn to tighten. For a permanent solution, apply a bead of NVX silicone sealant around the terminal's inner edge to ensure the sealed environment stays airtight for deep bass.
You will need to bridge the woofers internally. Use NVX 12-gauge OFC speaker wire to connect the two subs to the terminal. High-quality copper wire is essential here to prevent voltage drops and ensure both 12s move in perfect synchronization.
Yes. The LVE-TOY-TUNCCG2-D12S is the pre-loaded version. It comes with two NVX shallow-mount 12" subwoofers already installed and wired to a 1-ohm load, specifically tuned to maximize the 800W RMS potential of this enclosure.
