Ideal for active systems, the C6-650cw component woofer features a proprietary cast alloy frame outfitted with our Elevated Frame Cooling technology and a DMA-optimized motor system to generate outstanding midbass impact with ultralow distortion. Passive crossover networks are not included with C6 drivers, as they are designed for active systems. Instead, JL Audio recommend a high-quality tuning digital signal processor, such as the JL Audio TwK DSP, or a VXi amplifier with built-in DSP, with a dedicated amplifier channel for each C6 loudspeaker in the system. Precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters will ensure optimal in-vehicle performance.
