Can I use the XCA9K for competition use at 0.5-ohms?

Competitors do it, but it can be demanding if not dangerous to your vehicle's electric system. For daily use that lasts long, stick to power at 1-ohms as this still hits really hard.

Where should I install the bass remote included with the XCA936K?

You can install the bass remote on the dash or under dash. Just make sure that the cable covers enough distance between the remote and the amplifier.

Why does XCA9K's bass knob have a voltmeter?

Amplifier bass knob generally helps you set the right gain, but XCA9K's bass knob also lets you monitor your electrical health in real-time. If you see it dip below 12V, it’s the solution for knowing when to turn it down before you damage gear.

Why does XCA9K have 3 power and ground inputs? Can I only use one of these?

XCA9K is designed with triple 1/0-gauge power and ground inputs. You must use all of these, as trying to run this 9000W beast through one wire is a fire hazard. Use high-quality OFC 1/0-gauge wire for all six inputs.

I am planning to buy XCA9K and strap it with another competition amplifier. Would that work?

No, you shouldn’t strap XCA9K to a different amplifier model. It will cause mismatch in sound quality and gain matching failure. It’s best to strap the same two amps. We recommend buying two XCA9Ks to achieve 18000W RMS of daisy-chained bass power.

Why did the XCA9K go into 'protect' mode when the bass dropped?

Voltage drop is the suspect. If your car drops below 9.5V, the amp quits to save itself. Upgrading your alternator is the pro solution to keep the power flowing during massive 30Hz notes.

Do I need a second battery for the XCA9K?

Yes. At 9000W RMS, your stock battery is outmatched. Adding an AGM or Lithium bank in the trunk is the solution to voltage drop, ensuring your bass stays consistent and your electronics don't struggle.
