Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

NE102P is great for peak SPL and room-shaking rumble. The ported slot releases air pressure and amplifies the low-end. This is ideal for large SUVs and trucks and when you want thunderous bass. However, if you want a tight bass, NE102S is the way to go.
A dual enclosure ensures both subs share the same physical footprint, preventing them from sliding around independently. It makes installation and wire routing significantly easier than manually have two boxes.
Most likely not. For example, the NE102P has a generous mounting depth of up to nearly 14". That’s enough clearance for even the beefiest competition-grade magnets to breathe without slamming against the rear wall.
We don't recommend. NVX includes just enough to help the box act about 15-20% larger sound-wise. Adding too much can actually choke the sub's movement. Only add more if your sub's specs significantly exceed the box's actual internal volume.
It’s for durability and fitment. Sharp MDF corners under carpet are prone to bruising or chipping during installation. Rounded edges prevent the carpet from tearing and make it much easier to slide the box into tight trunk gaps.
