The Orion HCCA100NE is a high-output super shallow tweeter designed for installations where space is a major constraint but high-frequency performance is required. By utilizing a high-strength neodymium magnet, Orion has achieved a profile that is much thinner than traditional bullet tweeters without sacrificing volume. The aluminum die-cast body and aluminum diaphragm ensure that the tweeter remains durable and produces sharp, accurate highs that can cut through loud bass.
Technically, these tweeters handle 100 Watts RMS and up to 400 Watts peak power per pair. With a staggering sensitivity of 105 dB, they are extremely efficient at converting power into sound. The most notable feature is the mounting depth of just 1.15", making them one of the most versatile pro-audio style tweeters for custom pillar or dash builds.
