This Revolution model has been upgraded with a AC power supply for use in a home or office. No more batteries are required for this pocket-sized audio amplifier. The Revolution is an audio amplifier for wired and wireless headphones that provides 400% increase in volume to help you hear your audio with more clarity. The Revolution will work with a variety of audio devices such as television, home stereos, personal computers, speech transcription. The amplifier also has a built-in 2 channel audio splitter that lets you share music and movies.
The Boostaroo Revolution will amplify the audio signal coming from your audio player up to 400%. This extra power provides the boost needed to adequately amplify the signal coming from a TV or PC to your headphones or PC speakers. The added power increase also allows your to lower the volume of your device, resulting in decreased distortion and noise.
The Revolution has a patent pending audio cross feed circuit that increases the dynamic range of audio, providing the user with a clear audio and a more natural listen experience. Many users compare it to a sense of being in a recording studio. For those that suffer from hearing loss (and you use wireless headphones to watch TV), the Revolution is a must own accessory. The added volume increases and enhances the audio clarity, while allowing you to adequately hearing your television shows without disturbing others.

exactly what I hoped for!
Bought a new tv for my father - he's super hard of hearing so I also purchased Solo Beats by Dre for him. Plugged them into the tv & I could barely hear anything! Looked online for something to increase the volume & found Boostaroo Revolution R234-TV. Plugged it in & it works like a dream! Exactly what I was looking for. Fingers crossed it works forever :) today is only day 1 with it, and so far so good!

It has two outputs!
The Revolution is a very versatile little gadget,yet simply designed.I own several of these in various incarnations.Did not know that AAAA batteries existed!I am hoping Santa Claus will bestow a USB ,and a DC adapter so I may continue my experiments! Did I mention the R234-TV Audio enhancer from SONIC ELECTRONIX located in the good ole USA,has 2 Outputs!Nice people all,so give them a call!

Nothing like it out there!
If you think you might need this, you do. Buy it. I have three of them.
(If you want a longer, detailed, very positive review, dig out the one I sent you several years ago, which you never used, so far as I can tell; I'm not going to write it again.)
