Learn more about the abb121jSonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 subwoofer enclosures. The slot ported enclosures feature the same attractive appearance you are used to from Audiobahn with a black carpet finish and a Audiobahn embroidery. These subwoofer enclosures are constructed from high quality MDF and come equipped with gold binding post terminals for corrosion resistance. The slot ported subwoofer enclosures come in a variety of options including single 10", single 12", dual 10", and dual 12" and all feature a 2" 4-Layer voice coil.
Flared Slot PortingThe slot port design gives way to a larger surface area for the port, which is important to help decrease port velocity. This also allows for a lower tuning frequency not typically seen in pre-made enclosures. To enhance upon this design, the port is internally flared to help even-out the transition of air from the box through the port.
Cone & SurroundThe subwoofers used in this enclosure feature a high-gloss cone made from high-strength carbon composite with laminated pulp reinforcement. This cone is much sturdier than paper cones, allowing for more aggressive operation.
Standing Wave ReductionTo reduce the cancellation of sound caused by standing waves, Audiobahn has used geometric simulation design software to model the box with strategic angles. These angles reflect the sound within the box to provide optimal performance.

good sound, affordable
if you're a "balla on a budget" like me, then this is a real nice setup, I have it hooked to a california ap1200 amp, which is 600 watts bridged at 4ohm and I have the gain set to about 40%, and the head unit bass setting at about 50% and let me tell you this thing hits HARD so next purchase will be some dynomat before i shake some parts loose on my 06 focus...Very happy with my purchase and you will be too.
