Sonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 subwoofers. The Immortal series features the same attractive appearance you're used to from Audiobahn with the chrome plated 3-dimensional cast aluminum basket with flame design. The immortal series also comes equipped a 2 Ohm voice coil wound on black anodized aluminum former. These subwoofers can operate in a 0.5 ohm, 2 ohm or 8 ohm configuration and come in a 12" or a 15" model, each featuring a 200 oz triple stack strontium magnet.
ConeThe ultra-light 2-layer laminated carbon fiber Kevlar cone features an aluminum dustcap, making the cone rigid as well as lightweight. This design allows the cone to travel more easily with the same amount of power. More pressure and more sound can be created because less power is wasted controlling a heavy cone. Since this is an SPL competition subwoofer, high efficiency is crucial.
Back-PlateThis woofer features a bumped back-plate, which allows the cone to travel further, increasing excursion. Increased excursion means increased air displacement leading to increased sound pressure levels.

Great sub
When i heard this sub in my freinds jeep i almost told him to turn it down(not what i would usually do) it was so loud... DO NOT LISTEN TO THE LAST PERSON AT ALL! he is so dumb... you dont know anything... first of all i bought a SPLW 12 and thats the same exact sub as the mofo and it blew right away .... watts and magnets dont matter its when you finally listen to the sub that matters... you dont know anything... buy this sub if u want good bass but alot of money.

Love Mine
Have one on a precision power 500w amp, bought it used and havent had any problems. I replaced 2 pioneer 12s (which sounded great). Deep bass. Have put it against a pair of 15s on the same amp and had a hard time noticing the difference. I also have JL audio, mtx, and the aforementioned pioneers and currently looking for a bigger amp: paid 65$ for mine in the box made to specs by audiobahn have had it for 3 years and recommend it to anyone wanting a good speaker for cheap.

they all suck
i had 2 twelve inch audiobahns in my ford torus running off 2,800 watt rockford fosgate mono amp and one day both subs caught on fire. No BS thats why they got flames on em cuz the suck and overheat and burn.

good bass
i got one of this sub holy moly it hits power with a kick amp with a 0 gauge the hole car shake i need serious dynamat around the car got pulled over to many time now i need a radar detector.

I bought this Audio Bahn subwoofer and it sucks, it cant handle 2000 Watts. And it has one of the weakest Magetz that u can ever put on a Sub. Buy a Power Acoustik MOFO-12

I've got this sub hooked up in my ford ranger and when its cranked up I feel like my eardrums are going to explode. This is an amazing, power-sucking sub. I highly recommend this you buy one.

these are massive subs they r extremly loud i have 1 in a custom box i made to the specs of a dd box that i shrunk down and it bangs like no other.. if u got the right box and right amp this sub is loud i would recomed it to every 1

Great sub
This sub hits hard. I only have one, but I had a custom box made for it. It feels pretty good when almost everyone that hears it asks what kind of subs I have and I tell them that I only have one. Most of them are like, that's crazy. I have a nice Audiobahn amp hooked up to it also. Just ordered some dynamat so hopefully it will help the annoying rattling.
