Good.
For the current price this is a good deck, touch screen is lacking but it is an older deck just don't buy it for the touchscreen or you will be disappointed. GPS works fantastic though and I would recommend it for just that alone. I have had this deck in for almost 6 months now and I haven't had any problems. I love how simple it looks while screen is down so it doesn't attract attention but when it flips up you definitely impress someone haha. Durability seems ok if you aren't rough on it. Bottom line I would recommend this to a friend for the price and gps. Touchscreen is crap and it is almost impossible to navigate through its setting and different screens but works good for me and what I do.

It was a great value for the features, but you get what you pay for
The Car Audio system--- Dual XDVDN8190 comes loaded with features right out of the box. Starting with the GPS-navigation portion of the unit, I would like to say I was very pleased with it. It allows for a 10 second start up time, and is fairly easy to use. The only downfall of the car-audio/car-stereo/gps-navigation head unit is that it does not play your song from the point of which it was playing during your car ride. In other words, when you are listening to a song, and its at 1 minute and 30 seconds, and then you turn your car off, it will restart the song from the beginning. Other than that, you cannot get any other car-audio/car-stereo/gps-navigation head unit/car-stereo on the market for anything cheaper than this. Granted, I bought it for 500 dollars back in '08, but even then It was the a great deal. Now, it is even a better deal, and I would recommend it to the beginner/intermediate car audio guru.

XDVDN8190
This is the perfect unit! I bought it recently from sonic electronix and the price is a lot lower than the other online dealers. Everything is perfect with this product(GPS, Bluetooth, Ipod control etc...) If you want a very good unit for your car, buy this one.

OK If Everything Worked!
Great value for the money if all features worked properly. For my unit, the Nav screen goes blank after about an hour of use in the vehicle, and it often loses screen and display settings memory from one start to the next. It is currently back to Dual for repair, and although 98% of the features including Bluetooth work great, these problems are a pain in the neck. I can only hope the unit performs perfectly when returned to me.

the value is not bad
I love this product but the only fault i found is that the touch screen reaction is really slow but other wise its not a bad buy if your not impatient. If you want fast reaction use the remote that comes with it. It works right away.

Not so good.
I would not recommend this player. The radio works ok, the cd player works ok, but the navigation - not so much. I used it once, and then the next time the screen displayed "Unable to locate nav file". Tried updating nav files. The sales process was good and good price, just poor quality product.

great multi use car stereo
overall a great unit, it does have a few quarks, like all gps when searching for a destination you have to spell it correctly, clearcreek park vs clear creek park. It is difficult to move the map display around to view areas not on the screen. once in a while my ipod needs reset after using the pause button on the head unit. apple or dual problem. I have no experience with dvd signal to monitors in the back seat or a backup camera. I wish it displayed radio station programing data and recieved hd radio. maybe next gen

Stay away
Nothing but trouble. It was a good price, but broke after 8 months. I had to remove and send it back for a refund and since I had lost the remote I lost a few bucks. I instead went with a quality head unit from a name I could trust (not dual).
