For the money these speakers are very good.
Excellent frequency response. Crystal sound and loudness.

You need to buy these......
I am a sound quality competitor, and do rather well with my car. I typically run a high-end component set (that I wont name here) and in a pinch prior to a show, needed to replace my Mid-woofers. A friend had a set of these on hand, and asked me to try them out. I reluctantly agreed. I was blown away....
I ended up buying the set from him, and just ordered another set today to back up my back ups!
These handle large amounts of power, and play low frequencies quite well to boot. These mids are the real deal, trust me.......Buy them now.

Awesome sound
These speakers sound great. Best value in this size and power handling group in my opinion.

Lanzar 6" mid-bass speaker
I bought this not realizing that they are individually priced. Not a big deal, I'll order another if I decide to use them in my car. As of yet, the speaker is still in the box because I have to make some minor mods to mount it. It looks like and feels like a well built, quality unit. Came packaged well, was delivered as anticipated. Can't say how it sounds until I get it installed.

lanzar opt16pm
This is a well built mid range sub.The white fiberglass cone is different and the grill could be more protective.

Great sound at a great price.
I had Lanzar equipment back in the early '90s at the high point of mobile electronics (any one remember Car Stereo Review and IASCA?). The Lanzar name has seen better days since then. When looking for a set of mid-bases for my Subaru BRZ I did lots of homework. I kept coming back to these because of specs and price. You can't always trust specs, but with all of the positive comments I read regarding these speakers I thought I'd give them a chance. Well, I was not disappointed! The units are very efficient, and deliver solid lower bass (65 - 80 Hz), and very tight mid-bass. I have them crossed over at 12 db HP at 80 Hz and 12 db LP at 500 Hz. The upper bass growl from a bass guitar that was missing from my system before is present and forceful. The mid-bass tap of toms and the depth of lower register piano notes is also well represented. All this using an Alpine Power Pack rated at 45 watts PC! I'm certain the units can handle much more, but they are so efficient that it's not necessary for my install. Very good sound at a very good price. What more can you ask for? Also, great service from SE as always.
